New energy logistics vehicles sales exceed 100,000 from Jan to Oct in China

In the first 10 months of 2022, the cumulative number of new energy logistics vehicles on the terminal reached 112,699 units.
According to the latest data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, in the first three quarters of this year, the total amount of national social logistics was 247 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, which was 0.5 percentage points higher than the GDP growth rate in the same period. The steady growth of the logistics industry combined with the promotion of new energy logistics vehicles by some urban policies has prompted the new energy logistics market to quickly enter the upward range.
In the new energy logistics vehicle market, Farizon sold 3,718 units new energy commercial vehicles in October, higher than the sum of the second and third sales. The cumulative sales volume in the first 10 months exceeded 20,000 units, becoming the first company in China to exceed 20,000 new energy logistics vehicles in the year, reaching 22,499 units. Combined with the market trend and the layout of Farizon’s new energy commercial vehicle market layout, the sales volume of Farizon new energy logistics vehicles in 2022 is expected to exceed 30,000 units.
In the past three months, Chery's new energy logistics vehicles have ushered in a rising trend. In August, Chery's new energy logistics vehicles exceeded 1,000 units, ranking fifth in the industry. In September, Chery's new energy logistics vehicles rushed to the third place, behind Farizon and Dongfeng. In October, Chery's sold 1,711 units new energy logistics vehicles, ranking second.
But at the same time, the cumulative sales volume of Chery's new energy logistics vehicles in the first 10 months was only 7,135 units, ranking fifth in the industry. This shows that Chery's new energy logistics vehicles are growing rapidly.
In October, Dongfeng's new energy logistics vehicles sales still ranked in high level, but fell behind Chery by 2 units. Judging from the cumulative sales in the first ten months, Dongfeng New Energy logistics vehicles have sold a total of 13,353 units, becoming the only company that has cumulative sales of new energy logistics vehicles exceeding 10,000 other than Farizon. In this year, Dongfeng, which has a stable sales volume, is expected to hit the target of 17,000 units.
Among the top ten new energy logistics vehicle companies in October, light-duty vehicle companies all performed well. Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles, Dongfeng, BAIC, and SAIC MAXUS have sold more than 8,000 units in the first 10 months.
