CIMC Achieved Excellent Performance in Overseas Market in First Quarter 2022

April 28, 2022, Shenzhen, China, On the evening of April 26, CIMC (301039.SZ/01839.HK) released its 2022 first quarter report. During the period, CIMC overcame the unfavorable factors in operation, seized the growth opportunities in overseas markets, and achieved relatively stable development.

According to the report, in the first quarter of 2022, CIMC achieved an operating income of 5132.3 million yuan, and realized a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 124.5 million yuan. CIMC sold 26,766 units of various types of semi-trailers, 5,110 sets of special-purpose vehicles, and 1,329 sets of light van bodies worldwide, totaling 33,205 sets.

The demand for semi-trailers in the North American market continued to rise, and the company's North American business achieved impressive growth, with revenue increasing by 108.8% year-on-year.

In terms of European business, under the influence of global geopolitical conflicts, the company's European business developed between crisis and opportunities, and sales and revenue have steadily increased.

In the future, CIMC will deepen the construction of "high-end manufacturing system" and "new management infrastructure", develop an innovative business model of "product + service + finance", and actively integrate business in the global market to reduce the impact of global geopolitics on the company to promote the steady development of the group.
