Sales Analysis of China Commercial Vehicles Export in 2010 Ⅰ

www.chinaspv.com: According to statistics from China Customs that there were 566,653 complete vehicles exported last year, up 53.14% over 2009, but the export volumes were still less than that of 2008, when 681,008 complete vehicles were exported.

　
Part One: Recovering growth of China auto export in 2010

And 813,345 complete vehicles were imported last year, up 93.33% over 2009.

 

Part Two: China commercial vehicles export

Last year, China auto exports were less than import, similar to that of 2009, and the gap were 246,692 units and the trade deficit were 1.13 billion USD. In terms of commercial vehicles, there were 284,285 units exported last year, up 30.99%, and the sales revenues were 5.1 billion USD, up 25.31%. While 22,219 commercial vehicles were imported, up 93.7%.

Part Three: Main export markets for China commercial vehicles: nearly half in Asia, decreasing in Africa and increasing in South America.

Asia is still the main export areas for China commercial vehicles, and their sales volumes and trade revenues took 46.21% and 47.83%. Africa is the second export destination for China commercial vehicles, the market share were about 29.27% and trade revenues were 31.18%, much less than that of 2009, when the shares were 38.28% and 41.13%. China commercial vehicles were rather popular in South America, and the export volumes and trade revenues were 19.95% and 15.46% respectively, much higher than the figure in 2009, 10.38% and 9.77%.

Part Four: Analysis of the top fifteen countries and regions for China commercial vehicles.

Last year, Algeria was the country for most China commercial vehicles were exported, and share were 14.75% less than the figure in 2009, 16.81%. Less commercial vehicles were exported to Vietnam, and the figure was 10.86%, while 13.68% China commercial vehicles were exported to Vietnam in 2009. More China commercial vehicles were sold to Brazil and Chile, and their shares were increased to 4.67% and 4.01%, especially in Brazil, there were 13,286 commercial vehicles exported to Brazil, up 370.3%.

Part Five: Markets for wagons and trailers

There were 232,081 wagons exported in 2009, up 30.44%, and export revenues were 3.1 billion USD, up 25.05%. 18,346 trailers were exported, up 70.03%, and revenues amounted 0.7 billion USD, up 74.66%. 3,942 dumpers were exported, up 21.44%, and the export revenues were 0.17 billion USD, up 48.67%. Sales of wagons above 20 tons were 24,053 units, decreasing a little.

Wagons exported to Algeria ranked the first in terms of volumes and revenues, up 3.51%. Vietnam is the second largest destination for China commercial vehicles, and Iran is another big market for China wagons.
