"Anhui" Hand in Hand! XCMG Flood Drainage Rescue Team Set Out Urgently!

Recently, affected by Typhoon "Bebejia", Xiaoxian County, Anhui Province suffered heavy rains, many places were flooded, and the city was submerged in a vast ocean. Road traffic, power supply and communications and other fields were affected to varying degrees, and the flood control situation was severe and complicated.

XCMG quickly formed a drainage commando team, deployed 6 drainage and rescue equipment overnight, rushed to the rescue, responded to the flood "quickly", and provided solid and reliable equipment support for the front line of flood control and rescue.
 
Sanlongzhi River: Assisting the transfer of river water
 
Sanlongzhi River is an old river in Xiaoxian County. It flows into Longhe River through the county culvert and has a small amount of water on weekdays. Affected by "Bebejia", the water level of Sanlongzhi River rose sharply, almost flush with the ground, and the river water overflowed the river bank and flowed into the nearby roads and residential areas.

Since the culvert where the Sanlong River flows into the Long River is small and has a slow flow rate, it is difficult to carry too much drainage, and the water level has not dropped after the rain stopped. Upon hearing the "flood", XCMG rescue personnel rushed to the scene immediately.

After assessing the situation on the scene, the rescue personnel lifted the boom of the vertical drainage rescue vehicle GP35C, crossed the railing, crossed the 4m horizontal obstacle at the rear and the 1.5m vertical obstacle, and pumped out water at full capacity, 24 hours a day, to accelerate the discharge of water in the Sanlongzhi River into the Long River.

As of 5:00 p.m. on the 20th, GP35C was working at full capacity, with an average flow rate of 3,000 m³/h. The two outlets were connected to 60 m hoses, and the total drainage time was 27 hours, with a cumulative drainage volume of more than 80,000 m³.

After arriving at the scene, XCMG rescue workers immediately negotiated a drainage plan. The pickup-type drainage truck XGH5030TPSQ6 was selected for the rescue operation on this narrow road section because of its compact body and the fact that it can be quickly deployed by one person.

The on-site drainage operation was carried out intensively, including debugging vehicles, laying water hoses, and checking pipelines. XGH5030TPSQ6 raced against time, with each vehicle flow exceeding 600m³/h, and the maximum flow rate reaching 1000m³/h, continuously discharging the accumulated water into the sewer.

To ensure rapid drainage, the rescue team worked all night. After 28 hours of non-stop operations, the four XGH5030TPSQ6s discharged a total of more than 90,000 m³ of water, ensuring smooth roads in the emergency area.

Longteng Avenue: Assisting in drainage of two-way eight-lane roads

At 6 p.m. on the 20th, the rescue team received a notice and urgently went to Longteng Avenue in Xiaoxian for support. It is reported that to get here, it is necessary to pass through a section of waterlogged road about 1 meter deep, which is difficult for ordinary rescue vehicles to reach. XCMG's vertical drainage rescue vehicle GP35C successfully passed through with its hard-core wading ability and arrived at the scene first at 8 p.m.

The rescue site was a two-way eight-lane road section with a length of 1,000 meters and a width of 100 meters. The water depth was 50 centimeters and the area was huge. Rescuers used a vertical vehicle boom to put a water pump into the manhole to pump out water. The water hose meandered for 90 meters to drain the water into the nearby river.

After two days of continuous operation, the drainage capacity of XCMG's drainage equipment exceeded 120,000 m³, and the hidden dangers of waterlogging in the community have been effectively controlled. The drainage equipment of XCMG was unanimously praised by the residents on site.

At present, the intense rescue and emergency work in Xiao County is still ongoing. XCMG interprets the responsibility and commitment of "a great country's heavy equipment" with practical actions!
