CIMC Vehicles and Xi'an CIMC Hosted the Third Seminar on Electric Trailers

On August 8, 2024, the third industry seminar on electric trailer standard requirements, hosted by China Automotive Technology and Research Center and jointly organized by CIMC Vehicle Group and Xi'an CIMC, was successfully held in Xi'an CIMC. Industry experts and colleagues from China Automotive Technology and Research Center, OEMs, trailer companies, testing institutions, new energy companies, etc. attended the event.

Li Nan, Deputy General Manager of Xi'an CIMC, delivered an opening speech on behalf of Kong Fei, Assistant President of CIMC Vehicle Group and General Manager of Xi'an CIMC. He welcomed the industry experts and leaders who came from afar, and said that CIMC Vehicle Group and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile have actively explored the field of electric trailers, and have achieved some results in the product development and testing of electric mixer semi-trailers. Next, they will start small-batch production and customer trials. In the future, CIMC Vehicle Group will work with industry colleagues to promote the development and progress of electric trailers. I believe that through the in-depth exchanges at this meeting, we will be able to further promote the research and formulation of electric trailer standards.

At the seminar, industry experts and CIMC Vehicle Company representatives gathered together to reach a consensus on topics such as the testing and relevant standard requirements of electric trailers, as well as how to promote the formulation of electric trailer standards in the future. An industry alliance was established and the direction of the next key work was clarified.
