Yuancheng with Guangzhou to Build an Alcohol-Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Industry

On August 2, 2024, the People's Government of Baiyun District, Guangzhou City and Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group signed a cooperation agreement, the People's Government of Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangzhou Public Transport Group and Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, and Guangzhou Public Transport Group and Geely Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly cultivate new quality productivity and promote the development of alcohol-hydrogen electric vehicle industry.

According to the agreement, Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group will work together with the Baiyun District Government of Guangzhou and Guangzhou Public Transport Group to explore the construction of a green transportation intelligent service platform through the planning and construction of a full-scenario system solution for transportation, new energy charging and replacement, and methanol energy filling supporting infrastructure, centering on the green and low-carbon development goals of the transportation industry, and fully promote the comprehensive new energy use of public vehicles such as public transportation, taxis, sanitation, postal services, urban logistics distribution, and heavy trucks for specific scenarios, and jointly build a demonstration zone for the promotion and application of alcohol-hydrogen electric vehicles.

As China's first commercial vehicle group focusing on the new energy field, Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group adheres to the two core technical routes of "alcohol-hydrogen + electric", adheres to the development concept of "taking research and development as the guide and innovative business models as the basis", and has formed an industry leader in the field of new energy commercial vehicles.
