The 8th China-Eurasia Expo will be held in Urumqi, Xinjiang

In the midsummer, the foot of the Tianshan Mountains is full of greenery. The 8th China-Eurasia Expo with the theme of "New Opportunities on the Silk Road, New Vitality in Asia and Europe" will be held in Urumqi, Xinjiang from June 26 to 30.
 
Join hands in the Asia-Europe event and draw a blueprint for development. As an important channel for China and Asian and European countries to carry out exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields, the new China-Eurasia Expo will be held as scheduled. It is a vivid portrayal of China and Asian and European countries jointly maintaining an open and cooperative environment, seeking common development, sharing the future, and promoting economic globalization. Guests from 50 countries, regions and international organizations will gather at the exhibition. 27 countries and regions and international organizations will set up national (regional) pavilions and image pavilions to display special products. More than 1,000 domestic enterprises and institutions will participate in the exhibition. There will be more than 50 domestic and international trade promotion activities with outstanding characteristics and distinctive features... In 5 days, guests from all over the world will seek cooperative development, share development opportunities, and play the "win-win song" of open cooperation at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center.

For the first time, this Expo has set up the Central Enterprise Pavilion, the Specialized and New Enterprise Pavilion, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Enterprise Pavilion and the Xinjiang "Eight Industrial Clusters" Industrial Chain Leader Enterprise Pavilion. There are also three guest countries - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and three guest provinces and cities - Beijing, Shandong Province and Sichuan Province.
During the Expo, the third China-Kazakhstan Local Cooperation Forum with the theme of "Good Neighborliness, Friendship, Cooperation and Win-win" will be held in Urumqi at the same time. China and Kazakhstan will carry out exchanges in the fields of foreign trade, agricultural cooperation, etc., and promote the in-depth development of cooperation.
Liu Dianxun, Director of the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, said that this Expo will be based on Xinjiang's unique location, resources, environment and latecomer advantages, support Xinjiang to accelerate the construction of a large channel for opening up to the outside world, build a bridgehead for the country's opening up to the west, continuously expand the scope of Asia-Europe cooperation, improve the level of Asia-Europe cooperation, and promote common development and prosperity.

On June 24, walking into the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, the exhibition work in the 140,000 square meters exhibition area has entered its final stage. The Kazakhstan National Pavilion has been built, and the staff are carrying out the final booth decoration and product placement.
Vahed, an exhibitor from Iran, said that the importance of the Chinese market to Iranian companies is growing. The Expo provides Iranian companies with a valuable opportunity to directly contact Chinese consumers, which helps Iranian companies better focus on the needs of Chinese consumers.
The exhibition area has many highlights and rich exhibition themes. The 5G unmanned tower crane operation simulator, which can update data in real time, break the blind spot operation scene, and improve the overall lifting efficiency, was launched at this Expo. Concrete quality inspection robots, bamboo winding pipes and new sand control products Gushabao... Lu Yuedong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Commerce Bureau, said that more than 130 Corps enterprises covering key industries such as energy, equipment manufacturing, textiles and clothing, and modern agriculture will visit. Among them, new equipment such as cotton pickers, new materials such as silicon-based, aluminum-based, and carbon-based, and new water-saving irrigation technology equipment and other products will be unveiled.

Since 2011, the China-Eurasia Expo has been successfully held for seven sessions, achieved fruitful results, and has become an important platform for China and Asian and European countries to jointly build the "Belt and Road" high-quality development. Today, as a "window" connecting the domestic and international markets, the Expo plays an increasingly important role in serving the construction of a new development pattern.
Li Xuan, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Commerce Department, said that this Expo will focus on building a cooperation and exchange platform with promotion, negotiation, docking and signing as the main features. It is expected that more than 200 projects will be signed at the special promotion meeting and signing ceremony, and the special negotiation and docking activities will exceed more than half of the total number of supporting activities.
The latest data from Urumqi Customs shows that in the first four months of this year, the total value of Xinjiang's foreign trade imports and exports was 137.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 49.5%, ranking among the top in the country. Among them, imports and exports to countries participating in the construction of the "Belt and Road" increased by 46.6%, accounting for 91.5% of Xinjiang's total foreign trade.
