Among them, the Atego model has been widely used in the European fire rescue market, with a market share of 1/3, which shows the industry recognition of this star medium-duty truck.As a medium-duty truck, Atego's flexible handling and wide modification compatibility are important reasons why it has won the trust of the European fire rescue market, and also the confidence of Mercedes-Benz Trucks to introduce it to China.
It is understood that the Atego fire truck chassis can be equipped with Mercedes-Benz OM 934 or OM 936 engines, matched with the third-generation PowerShift 8-speed gearbox, and can choose a power output of 156-299 horsepower. At present, the traffic and pedestrian flow in new urban areas in China are gradually increasing, and the streets in old urban areas are relatively narrow. Medium-sized fire trucks can arrive at the rescue site relatively faster, and the Atego fire truck chassis can be equipped with a variety of hydraulics, power take-offs, electrical and pneumatic interfaces, as well as wheelbases from 6 meters to 8.2 meters.

In the future, the new generation of Unimog that meets the National VI emission standards will continue to be active at the forefront of China's fire rescue.
The Unimog fire truck chassis uses the Mercedes-Benz OM934 engine and is equipped with special equipment such as portal axles, all-wheel drive, 3 differential locks, part-time four-wheel drive, central tire pressure control system, heat insulation kit, roof hatch and overheating protection system. The vehicle's wading ability can reach 1.2 meters. Under complex road conditions, the vehicle can release torque to the wheel ends through the transfer case, which can better adapt to complex road conditions and ensure higher passability.
