Yutong Debuts at Zhengzhou International New Energy Vehicle Expo

In order to promote the demonstration and application of fuel cell vehicles in the Zhengzhou urban agglomeration and accelerate the development and market application of new energy industries in our province, on May 31, the "2024 Henan Zhengzhou Fuel Cell Vehicle and Advanced Energy Storage High-end Forum and 2024 Henan 12th New Energy Vehicle and Energy Storage Hydrogen Energy Technology Exhibition" jointly organized by the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Zhengzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission was grandly held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Yutong Environmental Sanitation brought its W18 hydrogen fuel low-entry washing and sweeping vehicle to a heavy appearance, attracting the attention of many exhibitors.
The exhibition lasted for three days, and a total of six pavilions were exhibited on site, including five major exhibition areas such as new energy passenger car exhibition area, urban new energy commercial vehicle promotion and application exhibition area, charging facility exhibition area, hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles, etc., bringing together hundreds of domestic and foreign companies and attracting many visitors to visit.

At the "2024 Henan Zhengzhou Fuel Cell Vehicle and Advanced Energy Storage High-end Forum" held at the same time, authoritative institutions, experts and corporate representatives in the field of hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles in China conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on hot topics such as the development prospects and opportunities of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, the promotion of standardization of hydrogen refueling station equipment, and key materials and technologies for hydrogen energy "production-storage-use", and provided suggestions and new support for building a highland for the innovative development of the hydrogen energy industry and building the "Zhongyuan Hydrogen City".
As one of the five major hydrogen fuel demonstration city clusters in China, Zhengzhou has made multiple efforts in the promotion and application of hydrogen fuel vehicles, especially in the promotion and application of hydrogen fuel in the sanitation field, leading the country. Yutong Sanitation took the lead in applying hydrogen energy in the sanitation field, which stems from Yutong's strong "platform" R&D strength. Yutong has 14 years of hydrogen energy R&D accumulation, has obtained 162 national patents, and has an operating mileage of over 50 million km. Relying on Yutong's deep technical accumulation in the field of fuel cells, Yutong Sanitation has currently developed a number of hydrogen fuel cell models.

The W18 hydrogen fuel low-entry washing and sweeping vehicle unveiled at the exhibition uses Yutong's mature hydrogen fuel cell system and Ruikong technology, which won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Among them, the hydrogen system carried by the vehicle has undergone 36 tests in four major categories: safety, environmental adaptability, structural strength, and extreme working condition adaptability. The hydrogen engine has been verified under 53 extreme and harsh working conditions. The performance is safe and reliable, and it has been well received by the visitors.
Compared with other sanitation products, Yutong Environmental Sanitation's hydrogen fuel sanitation vehicle has obvious advantages. It adopts a panoramic windshield and a right-side boarding and disembarking design to reduce the driver's blind spots and make driving safer. In terms of vehicle operation, it only takes 8 minutes to refuel with hydrogen, and the cruising range can reach 500KM. It is more suitable for driving at an altitude of 0-2000 meters and -30℃ without waiting. In terms of vehicle operation, it adopts a self-developed large fan and adaptive cylinder structure, which can adjust the height of the brush from the ground, making the cleaning and sweeping operation more efficient.

At present, Yutong Sanitation has delivered more than 200 hydrogen fuel sanitation vehicles to local garbage collection companies and sanitation service companies in Zhengzhou on many occasions, relying on the advantages of convenient energy refueling and good economy, allowing the "hydrogen" wind to green urban roads and blow into the future, making important contributions to the environmental protection cause and high-quality development of environmental sanitation in Zhengzhou.
