Yuchai Machinery has launched new products!

In accordance with the "full, new and strong" policy of Yuchai's 1235 strategy, Yuchai will make major breakthroughs in the development and application of low-carbon and zero-carbon flexible internal combustion engines such as hydrogen, ammonia and methanol, intelligent controllers, new energy power, and medium and low-speed marine products in 2024. At the event, Yuchai released four new products: YCK15M methanol fuel extended-range power, YCK16LN gas engine, YC16VTDH hydrogen fuel engine, and YCK12L diesel engine.
Among them, the YCK15M methanol range extender is the methanol range extender with the highest horsepower in China. This product is developed based on the first batch of methanol engines that have been put into market application in China. The methanol power generation rate has increased by 10%, the engine reliability has increased by 20%, and the cold start at minus 40 degrees Celsius can be achieved, which greatly improves the product performance. The high-horsepower gas engine YCK16LN is the gas engine with the highest thermal efficiency in mass production in the domestic industry. This engine is 16 liters, the cylinder head strength has increased by 116%, the anti-icing performance has increased by 16.7%, and the reliability, power and economy have all been greatly improved. Yuchai hydrogen-fired engine products are also used in the field of marine power. The YC16VTDH hydrogen fuel engine released this time is the first megawatt-level hydrogen fuel power generation power in China, with a thermal efficiency of over 42% and an overhaul period of more than 40,000 hours. The product can fully meet commercial needs.

The series of innovative technologies and products released at the event fully demonstrated Yuchai's strength in the research and development of green, low-carbon and intelligent power systems. It also made Yuchai the only company in my country whose internal combustion engine products fully cover the application fields of low-carbon and zero-carbon fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia, methanol and natural gas, and whose new energy power products cover the fields of pure electric, hybrid and hydrogen energy, and whose engine speed range covers low speed, medium speed and high speed.
To stimulate technological innovation, Yuchai announced at the event that it would increase the reward fund by 120 million yuan, bringing the reward fund for technological innovation to 200 million yuan in the next two to three years, and the cumulative reward amount in recent years will exceed 300 million yuan.
