September 20, 2023, China, Amidst the exhilarating roars and drilling sounds, XCMG's XKY270E successfully completed its trial operation at a drilling site, marking the official debut of China's first remotely controlled intelligent toothed roller drill rig.
As a crucial process in the mining industry that involves drilling, excavation, transportation, and crushing, the quality of the machinery directly affects the efficiency and quality of subsequent operations, placing high demands on the technology.
This equipment can achieve a hole diameter of 251-270mm, with an adjustable drilling angle between 60-90° and a maximum drilling depth of 53 meters. It comes equipped with functions such as automatic leg leveling, automatic drilling, fault diagnosis assistance, remote driving, hole layout guidance, address analog analysis, and more, ensuring both the safety and efficiency of mining operations.
Additionally, it features XCMG's 70-ton mining excavator chassis, which has been proven in the market for decades and is known for its sturdiness and reliability. Furthermore, it offers a variety of intelligent options to meet different customer needs, including the ability to diagnose faults, monitor operational parameters, record and alert anomalies in real-time, and extend the equipment's lifespan. This versatility caters to diverse construction requirements and provides a one-stop solution for mining machinery.
It's worth noting that the XKY270E toothed roller drill rig has already drilled over 7,000 meters and has gained unanimous recognition from mining companies.
XKY270E leverages information technology and digital sharing, capitalizing on the advantages of low-latency 5G networks to enable remote interaction between on-site images and operational commands. It achieves long-distance remote control, with response times from command issuance to equipment response controlled within 50 milliseconds, providing precise and rapid remote control services. This creates an unmanned construction environment, ensuring the safety of operators.
