February 24, Xinjiang, China, Recently, the first batch of 200 units Farizon alcohol hydrogen heavy trucks were delivered to Xinjiang, which will inject green kinetic energy to local places.
These 500 alcohol-hydrogen heavy trucks are produced by Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group Jinzhong Base, and will be put into coal transportation tasks in Xinjiang in the future. The person in charge of the fleet said that the alcohol hydrogen heavy truck has good economy and high reliability, which is especially suitable for the coal transportation business in Xinjiang, and has very good feedback in Xinjiang. After investigation, the company ordered 500 units for the first purchase.
The first unit of alcohol hydrogen heavy truck rolled off the production line from Alcohol Hydrogen Technology Jinzhong Base in June 2022. Under the company's development strategy, the sales continue to increase, and 500 units were delivered by December. Entering the new year, the production line has become more and more busy due to increasing demand from local and across the country. The users’ recognition of methanol heavy trucks in the field of logistics is also growing.
Compared with traditional diesel heavy trucks, alcohol-hydrogen heavy trucks can save fuel costs by 18%-32%, which is equivalent to saving up to 1 yuan per kilometer, and has obvious economic advantages. Methanol is a coal-based clean fuel, which is conducive to national energy security, and the use of carbon dioxide to synthesize green methanol is the only way to achieve carbon neutrality, and it is the perfect fuel for commercial vehicles.
