Iveco attends 2022 China International Import Expo

November 8, 2022, Shanghai, China, IVECO China participated in the 5th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the CIIE) held in Shanghai on November 5, bringing imported commercial vehicles and high-end modification solutions, and demonstrating its latest technology in new energy, intelligence and other fields.
This exhibition is the first public appearance of the IVECO brand in China after the IVECO Group's independent operation in January 2022. The IVECO brand designs, manufactures and sells light, medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. It is the first commercial vehicle brand to enter the Chinese market since the reform and opening up, and has been associated with the Chinese market for nearly 40 years.
The IVECO brand is committed to "leading the way of change", providing customers with reliable, sustainable and intelligent transportation solutions through continuous technology innovation and renewing products and services, enabling itself to protect the environment while conducting business efficiently and effectively.
During the expo, the IVECO brand displayed the imported IVECO DAILY light chassis, as well as two representative modified models, including the URV recreational vehicle co-operated by IVECO and Daide RV, and compressed air foam fire truck modified by Beijing Zhongzhuo Times Fire Fighting Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.
In addition, an online exhibition hall was specially created to display the latest products and technologies absent from the site due to the epidemic and transportation. In the field of electric vehicles, IVECO displayed the latest pure electric model eDAILY, the "electric twin" of IVECO's most iconic product of light commercial vehicle, and Nikola Tre BEV, the first mass-produced new energy heavy truck based on IVECO S-WAY.
In the field of hydrogen fuel cells, Iveco demonstrated the Nikola Tre FCEV model in cooperation with Nikola, and the eDAILY FCEV model created by Iveco and Hyundai Motor. In addition, advanced intelligent functions and services of Iveco S-WAY 490 star heavy truck allow Iveco commercial vehicles to take the lead in entering the new world of intelligent interconnection.
The imported Iveco chassis has been widely favored by refit factories and users since it entered China. At the site of the Expo, IVECO signed a strategic agreement with China Imported Automobile Trading Co., Ltd., which plans to import 1,000 units Daily truck chassis and vans in 2023-2025 for use in RVs and ambulances.
Fiat Dynamics Technology, a subsidiary of the IVECO Group, also participated in the exhibition, and brought its vision of net-zero carbon emissions for road applications to this event.
