IVECO Leoncino and Tigroto special edition launched

Two Daily special editions unveiled during IAA 2022 offer a unique combination of past and future as they take inspiration from two iconic OM vehicles from the 50s and 60s, the Tigrotto and the Leoncino. These vehicles played a fundamental role in the world of transport, leaving their mark on the booming economy of those years. The Leoncino special edition is a vintage interpretation of the new eDAILY, while the Tigrotto is a variant of the 4x4 Daily.

With the DAILY 4x4 platform, Tigroto is back in glory. The strong off-road performance and impeccable versatility make it a leader among professional light commercial vehicles. Tigroto is available in on-road and off-road versions, with a gross vehicle weight of up to 7 tons, a payload of up to 4.3 tons, and a body length of up to 5 meters. In terms of power, the DAILY 4X4 Tigrotto is equipped with a 3.0-liter engine (maximum power of 180 horsepower), matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission, providing powerful performance and excellent handling.

The Leoncino Special Edition takes its classic image into the future. The eDAILY, from IVECO's new zero-emission concept, is an electric light commercial vehicle that offers a cargo volume of up to 20 cubic meters, a payload of up to 4.6 tons and a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons. It adopts the eDAILY van's non-load-bearing body solution: the wheelbase is 4100 mm, and three batteries with a total capacity of 111 kWh can be installed, providing up to 400 kilometers of city cruising range.

On the Leoncino Special Edition models, users can access IVECO's most advanced services through the IVECO ON portal, including the IVECO Driver Pal voice assistant, as well as newly developed features to help manage fleet efficiently and keep drivers comfortable.

The batch production version of the DAILY 4x4 Tigrotto will be slightly simplified compared to the exhibited vehicles at IAA. The chassis and van were available for pre-order in September this year, while the Leoncino eDAILY van special edition will be available for pre-order in December 2022.
