JAC Group's project in Kazakhstan receives high reputation

September 16, 2022, Kazakhstan, On September 13, on the eve of his state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Tokayev, President Xi Jinping mentioned "the completed Zanatas 100-megawatt wind power plant, the JAC automobile production line and other large-scale strategic projects” have provided a strong boost to Kazakhstan's economic and social development and have truly benefited the people of the two countries.

As the only automobile cooperation project among China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation projects, JAC Group's Kazakhstan project is a microcosm of the accelerated cooperation between China's "Belt and Road" initiative and Kazakhstan's "Bright Road" new economic policy. JAC Group has been actively exploring the Kazakhstan market since 2014. On the basis of long-term and good cooperation and on-site analysis and investigation, in 2019, JAC Group and CMC jointly invested and officially became the controlling shareholder of Allur Group, the largest automobile company in Kazakhstan.

After years of continuous hard work, JAC has become the first car brand with CKD (Completely Known Down) production qualifications in Kazakhstan, and the only car brand that has realized the assembly and manufacture of full range of car products including sedans, SUVs, pickups, light trucks, and heavy trucks in Kazakhstan. By giving full play to the policy advantages of customs union countries, JAC Group's project in Kazakhstan has also achieved batch export to neighboring countries, and is increasingly becoming a regional radiation center. At present, JAC Group's project in Kazakhstan has an annual production capacity of 70,000 units.

The COVID-19 epidemic is a common challenge faced by all mankind. Since 2020, in order to fight against the epidemic, JAC Group has actively responded, gave full play to its own advantages, raced against time to produce and supply anti-epidemic-related models, timely supported medical systems across Kazakhstan, and helped the local area to win the battle of epidemic prevention and control.

In order to fully respond to the national "One Belt, One Road" initiative, in recent years, JAC Group's exports have covered nearly 100 countries along the "Belt and Road", and the export volume accounts for about 80% of the total, which provided a large number of jobs and promoted the development of local economy.

In the next step, JAC Group will improve its internationalization strategy, further increase investment in research and development, create a new model of "trade + industry + capital", and make more contributions for Chinese brands to go to international markets.
