September 15, 2022, Shanghai, China, On the afternoon of September 9, REFIRE and Shanghai Jiping New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiping New Energy") signed a strategic cooperation agreement and reached a deeper and broader consensus on the technical optimization, market expansion and diversified applications of key fuel cell components.
REFIRE is constantly committed to jointly improving the high-quality development and autonomy of fuel cell technology and products by working with partners in the industry chain. This time, REFIRE once again joined hands with Jiping New Energy to continuously strengthen the sustainable competitiveness of fuel cell products by optimizing the performance and quality of the core components of fuel cells, so as to implement high-quality fuel cell demonstration application projects. The strategic cooperation between the two parties will also help REFIRE to achieve more in-depth exploration in the field of hydrogen energy technology and promote its wide application in diversified scenarios.
As the first domestic company to mass-produce hydrogen energy and fuel cell catalysts, Jiping New Energy is very pleased to strengthen strategic cooperation with REFIRE, a leading fuel cell system enterprise, to jointly promote the localization of catalyst products. This signing marks the deepening of the consensus between the two parties at the strategic level, who will cooperate in more hydrogen fields to achieve win-win results.
In terms of application, the two parties will work together to expand the hydrogen energy market, agreeing to achieve 5,000 units installed capacity or 400,000 kilowatts of hydrogen energy equipment as a demonstration application target in 2026, and reaching a consensus to complete market promotion of 1,000 units installed capacity or 80,000 kilowatts hydrogen energy equipment in 2023. In addition, the two parties will work together on the cooperative development of next-generation fuel cell systems, continue to improve product durability and quality, and deliver fuel cell products with better performance to the market.
