September 9, 2022, Jiangxi, China, Recently, the 63.05MW distributed photovoltaic carport project jointly developed by JMC and Beijing Energy International has been fully connected to the grid for power generation.
The 63.05MW distributed photovoltaic carport project of JMC is the first large-scale distributed photovoltaic carport power generation project invested and constructed by Beijing Energy International, the first large-scale new energy project in Nanchang, and the largest single distributed photovoltaic project in China. The project scientifically and rationally utilizes the existing parking lot in the JMC factory and a new carport distributed photovoltaic power station with a total grid-connected capacity of 63.05MW was built with a photovoltaic shadow area of about 360,000 square meters.
While generating clean power, the project also realizes the shading of the parking lot area, achieves the intensive and three-dimensional comprehensive utilization of land, and realizes the sustainable development of land use.
After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be about 64.033 million kWh, which will save 19,850 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 52,122 tons. The benefits of energy saving and emission reduction are significant, which promotes the green development of energy in Nanchang City, and plays a leading and exemplary role in JMC’s “dual carbon” layout.
