FPT Industrial's 10,000th after treatment system went off line

July 5, 2022, Chongqing, China, On the morning of June 27, the 10,000th national VI after treatment system officially rolled off the production line at the ATS (After Treatment System) plant of FPT Industrial (Chongqing) Co., Ltd.

The ATS plant is invested and constructed by Fiat Power Technology under Iveco Group in the second quarter of 2021, and was officially put into operation on July 15, 2021. It is used to produce aftertreatment systems that meet national VI B emission standards for commercial vehicles. Matched with Fiat Power Technology Cursor series engines, the aftertreatment system can provide high performance, high reliability and high efficiency for medium and heavy trucks, coaches and buses with displacements covering 9L-13L, power covering 290-560 horsepower, and maximum output torque up to 2500Nm.

Fiat Power Technology's national VI after-treatment system adopts unique vanadium-based after-treatment technology and the industry's first Hi-eSCR patented technology. The nitrogen oxide conversion efficiency is up to 98%, with high sulfur resistance, lower requirements for exhaust temperature, higher adaptability and reliability. At the same time, there is no need for exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR), making the engine structure simpler and more reliable. The check interval of DPF is prolonged to 450,000km, an increase of 50% compared with other similar products, and the DPF does not need to be parked for regeneration, which greatly improves the attendance rate of the whole vehicle.
