Hubei Major Technology Project Settled in Dongfeng Trucks

January 25, 2022, Hubei, China, On January 20, Hubei major technology project (hydrogen energy heavy-duty commercial vehicle key technology research and vehicle integration) launch ceremony was held in Dongfeng Trucks Power Integration Business Department.

The project concentrates on achieving commanding height in galvanic pile and key material, key components, system integration, whole vehicle integration and other technologies. It will also provide feasible solutions for high-power and long-duration hydrogen energy heavy-duty commercial vehicles, provide green intelligent logistics solutions for customers and promote the sustainable development of Hubei and Shiyan economy.

In recent years, Dongfeng Trucks largely promoted electric, intelligent, internet, co-share and lightweight technology innovation and product R&D. In terms of electrification, Dongfeng Trucks made layout in electric, hybrid and hydrogen cell to meet customers’ demands. The excellent performance of fuel cell sanitation vehicle and tractor shows the bright application prospect of hydrogen energy commercial vehicle.
