December 23, 2021, Shanghai, China, On December 14, Shanghai Fuel Battery Automobile Power launched 200kW high power hydrogen cell engine.

Zhang Tianyu, chairman of Shanghai Fuel Battery, noted that the company has always focused on fuel cell automobile power system integration development. Compared with the first generation engine, the 200kW engine increased 6 times in power and 9 times in mass power density. More importantly, the company achieved 100% domestication of core components, which is a big step in hydrogen cell battery development history and leading China hydrogen cell technology to realize a new leap.
