CATL builds partnership with power management solution provider Eaton

December 16, 2021, Shanghai, China, CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Eaton Power Quality (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. on December 14th.

Under the agreement, the parties will cooperate in businesses such as product research and development, marketing, business model development, and service response mechanisms.

Specifically, CATL leverages lithium battery technology to help Eton Shanghai improve its enterprise-ready UPS (uninterruptible power supply) solution, the latter being highly efficient for CATL’s intelligent manufacturing projects. Provides energy-saving products and solutions.

In addition, the two companies hope to contribute to global energy transformation and sustainable development, and will work together to develop energy-saving and integrated digital energy storage solutions that can be used in a variety of application scenarios.
