Farizon Auto Reached Cooperation with China Railway Transportation Logistics

November 12, 2021, Zhejiang, China, On November 8, Fariozn Auto and China Railway Transportation Logistics Co., Ltd. reached a strategic cooperation. The two parties will cooperate in methanol new energy supply, and jointly develop and promote multi-trailer container new energy heavy-duty trucks powered by methanol, methanol extended range and pure electric drive to build a green and efficient logistics system and contribute to national energy security and green and low-carbon development.

On November 8, Geely's new energy commercial vehicle brand, Farizon Auto, released its new generation of new energy intelligent luxury heavy-duty truck, Homtruck, which matches a variety of new energy power such as pure electric, methanol extended range, methanol P2 hybrid, etc. and is expected to be launched to market in 2024.

Focusing on energy security, green and low carbon, Geely has been deeply involved in the methanol field for 16 years and developed a variety of methanol passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. Geely Farizon Auto has formed two core technical routes, including the urban commercial vehicle system with pure electricity and extended-range electric driving force system as the core, and the highway commercial vehicle system with liquid hydrogen energy methanol power and electric driving force as the core, and released the world's first Farizon M100 methanol heavy-duty truck in 2009.

The multi-trailer heavy-duty trucks developed by the two parties based on Homtruck can not only promote the implementation of the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategic goals, but also innovate the R&D and manufacturing of new energy power equipment.
