Skywell Hydrogen Truck Opened Zero Emission Era in Tianjin

August 25, 2021, Tianjin, China, On August 20, 5 units Skywell hydrogen cell trucks appeared in Rongcheng hydrogen refueling station, the first operated hydrogen refueling station in Tianjin. As the first batch of hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks, the trucks will be used for iron ore transportation and opening a new journey for local large industrial enterprises transportation structure adjustment.

The project has put into operation 1 hydrogen refueling station and 5 units hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks. Another 10 trucks will be operated soon.

As the first batch of hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks, the trucks are all produced by Skywell and represent national advanced tractors. The trucks adopt largest hydrogen full power generation system and have strong power and high reliability.

In 2021, Skywell achieved excellent performance. In the first seven months, 201 units hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks were operated in Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Guangdong, etc. Hydrogen cell vehicles’ sales accounted for 95.26% of the total new energy heavy-duty trucks’ sales, which hit a record high.

In the future, Skywell will continue to further develop hydrogen energy application scenarios, assist transportation industry high-quality development, build new growth pole and witness more breakthroughs and innovations in hydrogen energy source industry.
