Dongfeng Tianlong Tractors Put into Operation in Xiong’an New District

August 18, 2021, Baoding China, On August 14, the first one hundred class market operation hydrogen energy heavy-duty trick transport route was put into operation in Xushui district, Baoding, Hebei.
 

During the ceremony, 20 units Dongfeng Tianlong KL hydrogen cell tractors co-launched by Dongfeng Trucks and FTXT Energy were put into operation in Xiong’an new district for sand aggregate transportation, which will not only provide green service for Xiong’an new district, but also contribute to Baoding carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

It is known that Baoding plans to promote and operate 1,000 units hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks from 2021 to 2024 to meet sand aggregate demands from Xiong’an.

During the period, Dongfeng Trucks will cooperate with FTXT Energy to seize market opportunity, take advantage of industry resource, launch more reliable, more intelligent, more secure and more economic hydrogen cell heavy-duty trucks and construct industry transportation green cycle new pattern.

From 2017, based on intelligent development demands from automobile industry, Dongfeng Trucks conducted new energy, intelligent network and unmanned drive technologies research, and accumulated abundant research fruits and experience.

At present, Dongfeng Trucks fuel cell commercial kernel parameters reached the advanced level within the industry, and increased operational efficiency with 10% lower hydrogen consumption and 10% high energy recovery than its competitors.

In April 2021, Dongfeng Trucks first launched 6X4 fuel cell tractors.
