Dongfeng Motor’s Sales up by 29% YOY in First Half of 2021

July 8, 2021, Wuhan, China, According to the latest new from Dongfeng Motor Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), the company sold over 18,700 units vehicles in June 2021, up by 6% YOY, and the total sales in the first half of 2021 exceeded 105,000 units, up by 29% YOY.

As the main force of Dongfeng light-duty vehicles, Dongfeng light-duty trucks saw an increase of 25% YOY in sales to 91,483 units in the first half of 2021. In particular, the main vehicles and brands kept the increasing trend.

38,560 units Dongfeng Duolika were sold, up by 8% YOY;
18,656 units Dongfeng Xiaobawang were sold, up by 105% YOY;
15,079 units Dongfeng Furuika were sold, up by 50% YOY.

Meanwhile, the sales of Dongfeng bus and bus chassis kept increasing and reached 13,243 units from January to June 2021, up by 58% compared with the same period last year. And the sales of Dongfeng Yufeng light-duty bus reached 4,333 units, up by 93% YOY.

It is worth mentioning that since February, the company overcame the epidemic influence in overseas market and exported over 2,400 units vehicles in the first half of 2021, up by 125% YOY. In the future, the company will strengthen strategic cooperation with China Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp & Exp Co., Ltd. in Vietnamese, Russian, Iranian and Saudi markets.

In the beginning of the Fourteenth Five-year Plan Period, Dongfeng Motor will continue to give priority to customer and quality, innovate and promote technology application, enrich its products to meet customers’ demands, promote whole value-chain towards high-end and customer experience upgrade and completely open Dongfeng light-duty intelligent logistics era.
