Foton Builds Benchmark in National VI Emission Standards

July 6, 2021, Beijing, China, In 2012, Futon Cummins officially brought in Cummins engine technology with European VI emission standards; in 2014, Foton successfully launched Auman GTL heavy-duty truck with European VI emission standards; in 2019, Futon together with Foton Cummins launched multiple vehicles covering logistics, passenger transport, engineering and other working conditions in Shanghai exhibition, and became the first to provide integrated solutions of national VI emission standards for domestic customers. So far, Foton’s products cover heavy-duty, medium-and-light duty truck, micro truck, pickup truck and VAN, etc., with displacement covering 2.0L to 15L, which achieve full coverage in commercial vehicle segment market and meet different demands from high-end users.

Working together with Cummins engine, ZF transmission and Foton axle and based on deep research on customers’ operational scenes and working conditions, Foton builds customized integrated power system, Foton X super power chain.

Foton X super power chain has transmission efficiency of 98%, 1.6 million kilometers free maintenance, higher fuel economy by 5% to 10% and lower self-weight of 200kg.

At present, Foton has delivered 410,000 units vehicles with national VI emission standard, the reliability of which have been fully tested. In the future, Foton will make full preparations, strengthen market insight, listen to customers’ needs and continue to increase core competitiveness of its products.
