XCMG Signed 1,500 Units New Energy Vehicles in Tangshan

June 19, 2021, Tangshan, China, XCMG Heavy-duty Truck and Tanghong Heavy Industry new energy product introduction and marketing event and 1,500 units vehicles signing ceremony was held in Tangshan, Hebei province. On the site, the first batch of vehicles were delivered, which opened a new page for XCMG new energy products’ layout in Tangshan. The delivery also marked a breakthrough in new energy vehicle layout and intelligent new energy city construction.
Wang Haotao, chairman of the board of Tanghong Heavy Industry Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd., said, “The cooperation with XCMG is another breakthrough in our development strategy, which will build new highlight of equipment manufacturing industry and green energy industry close connection, play an active role in port, steel and logistics transportation, and provide guarantee for green development and ecological construction in Tangshan.

The delivered XCMG new energy vehicles are mainly E700 pure electric tractors (electricity switching version) and E700 pure electric tractors (charging version), which both have high comfortability due to airbag full floating driving room and airbag seats. In particular, the electricity switching version vehicle can switch within 5 minutes and one-hour charging can guarantee high efficiency transportation. In terms of maintenance, XCMG pure electric vehicles has a lower cost of 20-30% compared with fuel vehicles, and customers can enjoy quality guarantee of core accessories within 5 years or 400,000km.

XCMG’s new energy vehicles are very suitable for steel transportation in Tangshan, which will bring green, environmental and professional operation for Tangshan.
