SHACMAN Joins Hands with Longjian in Building Roads & Bridges in Gambia

On December 19, a ceremony was held to mark the handover of a batch of SHACMAN trucks to Longjian, an enterprise specialized in building roads and bridges. Zhang Haigang, Deputy General Manager of SHACMAN Import & Export Company, Yang Jijun, Longjian Road & Bridge Rental Company, attended the ceremony.
According to SHACMAN, the new batch of trucks will be shipped to Gambia in Africa to assist the construction of roads and bridges, which is a part of China’s aid program to Gambia. It is believed that the construction of roads and bridges in Gambia will create more jobs for local citizens. Moreover, after their completion, the new roads and bridges will further improve the local transport networks and promote the country’s economic development.
As one of the leading construction firms in Northeast China, Longjian has already established a solid reputation both at home and abroad.
SHACMAN, a major player in the global engineering vehicle market, has so far exported over 17,000 units trucks to the overseas market, participating in a number of construction projects.
