Yuchai Reports a Jump of 200% YOY in First Four Months

www.chinaspv.com: From January to April, 2017, Y&C Engine achieves remarkable results: both production and sales volumes exceed 6,000 units, up by over 200% year on year. YC6K12/13 sees a sales volume of almost 4,000 units, up by 233% year on year.

Y&C Engine has been at the forefront of accurately predicting major trends and launched its high-end YC6K12/13 engine, bringing the operation of its range into full play. In 2016, Y&C Engine announced that the best production and sales were obtained with the total sales volume up 55% year on year, the YC6K12/13 engine of which is around 4,800 units, accounting for almost 65% of the total volume.

YC6K engine pumps out 390-580hp with a maximum torque of 2600N.m, and operates in a wide economic rotating speed area from 1000r/min～1500r/min. YC6K engine that achieves peak torque at low rpm makes start acceleration and climbing more easily. Anything goes on YC6K are from global leading suppliers. Gantry-type cylinder block and wet cylinder liner ensure the high reliability of parts and makes engine’s average fault interval up to 100,000km and B10 lifespan up to 1.6 million km.

YC6K has its intake tube integrated into the cylinder block, delivering 5%-8% higher efficiency than the likes thanks to the four-valve technology optimized by international R&D research institute. It has been awarded with “Fuel Saving Champion” for the third consecutive years. YC6K has become a model for others to follow in the power industry.
