China Issues Policies to Support Cool Chain Logistics

It makes higher requests for the industry prosperity and requires “speeding up of the building of the agricultural products cool chain system centering on low temperature storage and transportation by coolboxes across the country”, constructing or improving some agricultural wholesale and trade markets in the key production and sales areas. Both market scale and demand growth rate of China’s cooling chain logistics speed up, just the annual requirements of cooling food adds up to around 100 million tons, over 8% up yearly. Some Experts at air conditioner refrigerating point out that more than 10,000 supermarkets urgently introduce cooling chain technologies as well as seeking partners, not to mention agricultural markets. The application of modern logistics and energy saving, emission reduction technology will improve the elementary facilities such as freezers and transportation equipments.
