CSR Wins the Order of Locomotives and Trucks in Argentina

www.chinaspv.com: 15 Dec.2014, as CSR Corporation Limited announces, it wins a new oversea order of locomotives and trucks for the transformation project of railway in Belgrano, Argentina, worth around 1.7 billion Yuan.

As known, this project belongs to the renewal project of old railway routes in Argentina, broadly networking and China Machinery Engineering Corporation gets the general contract. 100 units of locomotives and 3500 units of various trucks are involved and CSR will offer 80 units of broad-gauge locomotives and meter-gage locomotives as well as more than 2000 units of mine hopper wagons, grain hopper wagons and platform wagons.

CSR Corporation Limited is an important supplier for railway market in Argentina, supplying railway motor cars and passenger trains as early as 2006. In the beginning of 2013, this builder signed the procurement contract with Argentina government, 709 units of Intercity EMUs in total, worthy almost 1 billion USD.
