Production and Sales of Vehicle Diesel Engines in September

www.chinaspv.com: In September of 2013, production of domestic automobile is 1,926,589 units, chain relative ratio and year-on-year figure of which increase 14.87% and 15.96% respectively. Sales are 1,935,820 units, chain relative ratio and year-on-year figure of which increase 17.40% and 19.66% separately. As for the first three quarters of 2013, accumulative production and sales of domestic automobile are respectively 15,938,351 units and 15,883,084 units, which increase 12.78% and 12.70% year on year. The increasing growth rate and market expansion prove that the increasing trend of automobile supply and demand in the following quarter of this year.

Owing to rising trend of vehicle market, production and sales data of engine market increase up to a point. In September, production and sales of domestic engine are respectively 1,749,183 units and 1,764,883 units. As for the first three quarters of 2013, accumulative production and sales of domestic engines are respectively 14,709,810 units and 14,691,153 units, which increase 13.80% and 13.60% year on year. Both the production and sales increase, in which sales increases faster than the other. Growth rates of increase of production and sales are respectively 1.58% and 2.22%.

I. Vehicle Diesel engine enterprise

In Sep. of 2013, production and sales of domestic vehicle diesel engines are 303,495 units and 299,591 units. In the first three quarters of 2013, accumulative production and sales are 2,650,581 units and 2,660,260units. Compared with the same period of last year, increase of production and sales are respectively 11.07% and 8.49%. And the corresponding growth rates are 5.22% and 5.68%.

Production

Seen from production of diesel engines in September of 2013, the top ten enterprises are as follows: Weichai, Quanchai, FAW, Yuchai, Yunnei Power, JMC, Dongfeng Automobile, Laidong, Foton, and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel. The corresponding productions are 43,995, 43,592, 43,324, 40,593, 21,714, 21,330, 16,771, 16,055, 12,243̨, and 10,055 units with respective portions of the whole output are 14.50%, 14.36%, 14.28%, 13.38%, 7.15%, 7.03%, 5.53%, 5.29%, 4.03%, and 3.31%. The total production of these ten enterprises is 269,672 units, taking up 88.86%, and the concentration of increase is 1.31%.

From the production of diesel engines in the first three quarters, we can see that the top ten enterprises are as follows: Yuchai, Weichai, Quanchai, FAW, JMC, Yunnei Power, Dongfeng Automobile, Laidong, Foton, and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel. The corresponding productions are 411,193, 391,561, 369,578, 330,692, 170,477, 157,757, 135,368, 124,907, 114,530, and 98,390 units with respective portions of the whole output are 15.51%, 14.77%, 13.94%, 12.48%, 6.43%, 5.95%, 5.11%, 4.71%, 4.32%, and 3.71%. The total production of these ten enterprises is 2,304,453 units, taking up 86.94%, and the concentration of increase is increasing slightly 0.25%. In the first three quarters of 2013, accumulative production of top ten enterprises of diesel engine shows the number of increasing enterprises shrinks to 8. The detailed eight increasing enterprises are as follows: Weichai, Yuchai, Foton, Quanchai, Laidong, JMC, FAW, and Dongfeng with respective growth rates of 31.65%, 24.73%, 23.59%, 16.04%, 14.06%, 11.69%, 10.63% and 7.44%. Decreasing enterprises are Yunnei Power and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel with corresponding decreasing rates of 4.94% and 13.38%.

Sales

Seen from sales of diesel engines in September of 2013, the top ten enterprises are as follows: Yuchai, Weichai, FAW, Quanchai, JMC, Yunnei Power, Dongfeng Automobile, Laidong, Foton, and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel. The corresponding sales volumes are45,413, 42,655, 42,461, 42,096, 21,580, 17,495, 15,697, 14,535, 12,947, and 10,738 units with respective portions of the whole output are 15.16%, 14.24%, 14.17%, 14.05%, 7.20%, 5.84%, 5.24%, 4.85%, 4.32%, and 3.58%. The total sales of these ten enterprises are 265,617 units, taking up 88.66%, and the concentration of decrease is 1.24%.

From the sales of diesel engines in the first three quarters, we can see that the top ten enterprises are as follows: Yuchai, Weichai, Quanchai, FAW, JMC, Yunnei Power, Dongfeng Automobile, Laidong, Foton, and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel. The corresponding productions are 427,588, 386,907, 368,991, 326,555, 170,579, 159,663, 134,512, 124,897, 114,077, and 100,627 units with respective portions of the whole output are 16.07%, 14.54%, 13.87%, 12.28%, 6.41%, 6.00%, 5.06%, 4.69%, 4.29%, and 3.78%. The total sales of these ten enterprises are 2,314,396 units, taking up 87.00%, and the concentration of increase is increasing slightly 0.21%. In the first three quarters of 2013, accumulative production of top ten enterprises of diesel engine shows the number of increasing enterprises contracts to 8. The detailed eight increasing enterprises are as follows: Weichai, Foton, Quanchai, Laidong, JMC, FAW, Yuchai, and Dongfeng with respective growth rates of 25.83%, 23.18%, 16.40%, 14.30%, 12.02%, 10.55%, 9.41% and 7.69%. Decreasing enterprises are Yunnei Power and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel with corresponding decreasing rates of 4.24% and 10.30%.
