Located in Anding County of Daxing District of Beijing, daily garbage volume of Anding garbage sanitary landfill is 700t, which are mainly household garbage from Xicheng District and Daxing District. After completion of the second expansion project, daily volume will increase 100% to 1,400t. He Liang, deputy GM of Beijing Sanitation Group, said that the first sanitary technology R&D center in Beijing founded by Beijing Sanitation Group made its own R&D of efficient gas collection of garbage and clean-fuel technical products for three year. In 2010, Beijing Sanitation Group also established the first landfill hydraulic natural gas project of China in Anding garbage landfill, which is with the annual gas volume of 5.6 million square meters. It is expected that the technology mentioned above can produce hydraulic natural gas of 2.394 million square meters, which is equal to 2.3 million L of No.93 gasoline per year. Meanwhile, reduced emission of carbon dioxide is 52,100t per year.
