www.chinaspv.com: It is learned from Shenyang Gas Group that since introducing “Natural gas transmission from West to East China” in July of 2011, Shenyang has already broke its bottle-neck of gas supply. At present, daily gas demand volume of Shenyang is 2.535 million square meters, which reduces 14,900t sulfur dioxide emission yearly.
Shenyang To Build 20 CNG & LNG Gas Stations in 3 Years
Along with introduction of gas supply from West China, more and more residents, industries and restaurants use clean and safe natural gas. So fa, daily gas demand volume of Shenyang is 2.535 million square meters. Based on estimation of relative department, 14,900t sulfur dioxide emission is reduced per year. There are over 1.9 million residents and over 6,000 industrial customers using pipeline gas. Additionally, more and more transit buses, taxis, heavy-duty trucks use natural gas. The registered number of clean-energy taxis is over 10,000 units.
What’s more, by project of oil to gas, over 10,000 taxis in Shenyang reduce 40% carbon emission. Now inventory volume of motor vehicle throughout the city is 1.07 million units, in which more and more taxis, transit buses and private cars start to use natural gas as their fuel. Last year, Shenyang Gas Group built 10 CNG gas stations.
In the following three years, Shenyang Gas Group plans to build another 20 CNG & LNG gas stations. In 2013, in order to accelerate LNG application as vehicular fuel, Shenyang Gas Group has already invested mobile gas stations with 5 fixed gas stations in the process of building. Thus, gas demanding of transit bus, long-distance bus and heavy-duty truck can be satisfied.
It is learned from departments of transport that 2,300 new taxis will be into operation in Shenyang, which are all of clean energy as their power, i.e. natural gas buses. 1,800 taxis have been delivered completely. So far over 10,000 taxis of clean energy have been registered in Shenyang. It is learned that daily carbon emission volume of new taxis is 60% of fuel vehicles, which means almost 40% carbon emission is reduced per day.
