Sino Truck Natural Gas Engine Completes Rack Test in Plateau

www.chinaspv.com: To enhance adaptability of natural gas engine in plateau, Sino Truck organized a test team of plateau to proceed with plateau calibration of natural gas engine in Tibetan Plateau from July 2nd to 28th in 2013.

This test is the first plateau rack calibration of Sino Truck, which was completed by technicians from technical center power institute and Fuqiang Power, and engineers from American ECI through various difficulties and 27 days. In test places of different altitude and over 3,000km, data of gas engine in plateau was collected. Along with optimization and calibration of engine control system, the test was achieved successfully.

The plateau rack calibration is doing correction and calibration over engine control system according to change of different altitudes, which can maintain engine of enough power even in plateau with low gas consumption. This consolidates the basis of natural gas products of Sino Truck in the market range.
