Honeywell Turbocharger in Wuhan Plant Goes Into Production

www.chinaspv.com: Honeywell is a worldwide leading turbocharger manufacturer with 13 plants around the globe. And one plant is just in Shanghai. Additionally, Honeywell recently invested a new turbocharger plant in Wuhan, which is going into production before the end of 2013.
In China, Honeywell provides professional service to over 30 customers. To provide optimized and rapid project support, Honeywell established a R&D center in Shanghai to serve domestic and Asian customers. By virtue of American advanced design and manufacturing technique, technical support from different global branches, and local customer demanding, Honeywell manufacturers and sells turbochargers with profession. Therefore, it becomes the first part of main engines of domestic famous enterprises, such as Dongfeng Cummins, NAVECO, DCD, Yuchai, Weichai Power, FAW, and Foton.
Turbocharging is a green technology, which is helpful to reduce carbon emission and improve fuel consumption to 40%. In Europe, more than a half of new light vehicle are equipped with turbochargers. According to Honewell, Chinese turbocharging market will increase to 10 million units from the present 5 million units. Hence, the ratio of turbocharging parts will increase to nearly 30% from the present 20%.
