Volvo Trucks orders down 19% in second quarter

www.chinaspv.com: The second largest truck maker Volvo Trucks declared their sales report, and their orders decreased by 19% affected by sliding sales in Europe and the US.
However, Volvo Trucks still insist their sales expectation of the whole year for Europe and the US markets.
American customers are rather cautious about placing orders due to their concerns about the financial crisis. Market needs from Brazil are decreasing since early this year, and they predicts that sales in Brazil will decrease from 105,000 to 90,000 units.
