www.chinaspv.com:
CAMC sold 1,043 trucks in Jan., and the figure were 1,700 units last year. Apart from Spring Festival factors, the downturn situation of CAMC heavy trucks continues since second half of last year.
Liu Hanru, president and general manager of CAMC, is pessimistic about pessimistic about heavy truck markets in 2012, and he even deems that the situation will be worse than that in 2008.
Although GDP of China increased by 9.2%, the real GDP was not high due to the high CPI increments. The slower construction of railways affected needs of dumpers. Housing for poor people is continuing, but it dosen't drive development of economy much, and financing gap is rather big this year. In addition, building of air ports are slow in 2012. And these infrastructure construction declining will needs of heavy trucks.
CAMC will improve service levels such as financing tools and provide the whole set of operation solutions.
