Volvo to promote economic vehicle in China in next ten years

(chinaspv.com, June 1, 2010) Volvo group discloses on May 22, 2010 that China is to be one of the most core markets of Volvo group.
It is showed by the statistics that the net sales revenue of Volvo has been increased 46%, and Asia has become the second largest market of global market, and it has occupied 25% of the total sales revenue.
Volvo is continuously enlarging the investment to China market. At present, Volvo and Dongfeng Auto have an AV company; DND, Dongfeng Auto and Volvo group each have 50% shares.
Volvo will promote economic heavy truck in China market in next ten years if Volvo could get the agreement of partner.
As the largest heavy truck manufacturer in the world, Volvo attaches great importance to environmental issues, and it begins to develop hybrid technology.
It is learned by reporter that hybrid technology is one of the most promising and competitive technologies at the moment. Hybrid tech can help to save fuel, reduce emission, and replace fuel.
